As a daughter of a pastor and missionary, she has spent the majority of her life in some form of ministry. She has served in many churches and mission sites in ways such as Bible study leader, children’s church director, worship team leader, and youth worker.

Samantha’s approach to counseling is from a Christian perspective. It is based on Biblical principles integrated with psychological concepts. She uses a variety of techniques and strategies to assist in resolving life issues. Her desire is to create and encourage a safe, empathic, and professional environment where healing and growth can occur.

“I desire to work with those individuals who are searching for comfort, peace and healing. I believe that one of the most important things that a counselor can do is to help someone discover and live with hope in their life. Many times this is hard to see in light of circumstances and situations. As believers, we are promised that ‘hope does not disappoint us.’ This is at the heart of my work and passion. This Hope is what enables us to live our daily life and overcome our struggles.”
